Conviviality & Sharing Four districts, one soul: between riverbank and canopy

La Chapoulière is best explored by its distinct areas, each with its own character, yet all sharing the same spirit.

The Village, the historic heart of the campsite, retains its original character. La Rive, a bucolic space, offers the tranquility of the riverside. Higher up, Les Faïsses unfolds across the hillside, nestled between lush vegetation and sunlight. And at the very top, Les Cévennes offers a 360° panoramic view, between the riverbank and the canopy.

Quartier Le Village

Historic Quarter – Where It All Began

Established in 1973, this is the very first section of La Chapoulière, the one that still carries the spirit of its beginnings. You move through it like a small spine: it's the way to the beach, the playground, or to grab your canoe.

At the center, a pétanque court where games are spontaneous, two toilet blocks that punctuate the rhythm of life in the area, and all around, a simple, lively, almost familiar atmosphere. Here, you can feel the history of the campsite… and the life that continues to unfold within its walls.

Quartier la Rive

Here, the accommodations are nestled as if on the edge of a water garden: pitches with private bathrooms, cottages, and mobile homes facing the river.

The little path that runs alongside the Ardèche River winds its way under the trees, punctuated by secluded spots where you can sit, slow down, and let the current flow by.

A chic place with its views, a gentle pace, and always imbued with the bucolic tranquility that is the campsite's hallmark.

Quartier Les Cévennes

This area overlooks the campsite like a natural viewpoint, perched above the river. Our most upscale accommodations take on the feel of a rooftop in the heart of nature, entirely designed to let the view guide the experience.

The beach is reached in eight minutes on foot, just enough time to breathe in the scenery and feel the light change.

Here, the setting sun becomes a daily ritual: wide horizon, open sky, sensations of altitude… a neighborhood suspended between earth and canopy.

Quartier Les Faïsses

Here, the light flows more freely: the trees appear lighter, the spaces open up into terraces, allowing the landscape to breathe. The neighborhood gently blends the Taos Prestige residences, a few scattered rentals, and bare plots, in a simple and soothing balance.

Very close to the pool and two steps from the Village's living area, there is a calm, gentle, almost sunny atmosphere — a place where you can enjoy both rest and the changing seasons.
